In La Cima, a small community in El Arenal, Jalisco, children face a daily challenge just to study. The closest middle school is overcrowded, and many students must walk 40–60 minutes under harsh weather just to reach a classroom. For too many families, this makes continuing education almost impossible.
The La Cima Project is changing that. Together with the Secretary of Education, INFEJAL, and the local government, we are building a new middle school where children will finally have access to quality education in their own community.
This is not just another school. Twelve leading architects and firms from across Mexico are designing the first school in Mexico built with circular economy principles, turning tequila byproducts like bagazo and vinaza, once an environmental burden, into sustainable building materials. The result: classrooms that give back to the community and inspire a new way of designing schools across the country.
We are not doing this alone. Multiple tequila brands and distilleries have already joined our cause, alongside students from universities across Mexico: ITESO, UNAM, UP, and more, who will contribute their skills and energy while gaining hands-on experience in building a better future.
This project is bigger than all of us—and that’s why we need you.
Every donation, every hour volunteered, and every hand that helps will build more than a school. It will build hope, opportunity, and a future for generations of children in La Cima.
Join us. Together, we can turn waste into opportunity and dreams into reality.
